The WSA is a student club at Harvard Business School engaged in a number of student-led events, programs, and initiatives. Please find more information about our key focus areas below.

RC Events & Engagement

RC Events & Engagement's main goal is to bring together RC women, get them involved in the WSA, and help them obtain the resources they need to succeed at HBS.  The year kicked off with a Retreat to Portland, Maine.  We will continue to hold both career and social related events throughout the year.

Fireside Chats

The WSA runs an initiative known as “The Women in Leadership” Fireside Chat Series. These small group discussion consist of WSA members, selected female faculty, and distinguished female guest speakers from both the public and private sectors.

We believe that students get the most out of meeting speakers in smaller groups and in more intimate and relaxed settings. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and truly get to know female leaders. Students will have the chance to hear firsthand from women in positions in power about their diverse experiences and how they have navigated their careers.

Since 2010, the Manbassadors have sought to increase male participation in the gender equality conversation at HBS. Our team provides the encouragement, structure, and support to leaders within each section to facilitate frank and open discussions on a variety of issues related to gender inequality. In addition, our organization seeks to partner with WSA leaders and faculty to influence the curriculum and availability of training resources on campus.

Series W

In 2015, the WSA launched our entrepreneurship initiative: Series W, a group dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs and early stage investors at HBS. Series W will connect those women pursuing bold ideas, be a resource for women with an idea who need help getting it off the ground, and bring together women interested in angel & VC investing.

The goal of Series W is to create a network of talented individuals to support each other, no matter the stage, or series, of their big ideas. We will be holding events throughout the year with current students, alumni, and women in the entrepreneurial world that we admire
